Firsto & CSD sleeves Installation

The casing of the FIRSTO Firestop is secured to the wall making use of a fire resistant FRR/HF packing

The underside and lateral sides of the FIRSTO casing are provided with ACTIFOAM sheets. The first layer of cables is spread out on the bottom layer.

The cables are spaced apart by means of separation profiles.

Next, one or more ACTIFOAM sheets are placed on top of the first cable layer.

Then the second layer of cables is spaced apart in the same way.

The space remaining after all the cables have been packed with ACTIFOAM foam rubber is filled up with ACTIFOAM sheets.

Finally, the lid is secured on the Firestop casing.

If a watertight or airtight seal is needed, we recommend applying a thin coat of our FIWA sealant over the exposed edge of the ACTIFOAM sheets. This non-intumescent silicon-based elastomer provides a durable weather-resistant seal that is unaffected by most chemical environments.
